Who we put on the show

We're deliberately narrow. Time Compass is a resources-and-markets show, so every guest lands in front of an audience already looking for exactly what you do.

EXPLORERS & DEVELOPERS

A drill program worth talking about

Juniors with assays, a maiden resource, a PEA or a financing to explain. TSX‑V, CSE, ASX and OTC all welcome.

PRODUCERS & ROYALTIES

More than a press release

Operators with production numbers, expansion plans or an acquisition story that deserves proper airtime.

ANALYSTS & FUNDS

A view worth defending

People with a real position on gold, silver, rates and where the metals cycle goes next — and the record to back it.

Why bother coming on

Most podcast invitations cost you an hour and hand back a bad audio file. This one leaves you with assets you'd otherwise pay a production company for.

Studio-grade capture, free

Recorded on Riverside: separate local 4K video and uncompressed audio per person, so a wobbly connection can't ruin the take.

Edited by the host, free

No outsourced editor, no queue. Bud cuts every episode himself — colour, audio levelling, captions, chapters. You pay nothing for any of it.

You keep the footage

You get the finished episode plus short vertical cuts for LinkedIn, X and Instagram. Use them in your IR deck, your newsletter, anywhere.

An audience that owns the sector

Not a general business channel. The people watching already hold miners and metals and are hunting the next name to research.

Real questions, prepared

We read the technical report, the last two quarterlies and the capital structure before you sit down. Nobody will ask you "so what is gold?"

Present your actual deck

On the full-length format you share your screen and walk the audience through your corporate presentation, slide by slide.

Two formats. Production is free in both.

Pick based on how much story you have. Nobody pays to be recorded, edited or published — the only paid item on the menu is promotion.

Apply for a full feature
To be completely clear about the money: recording and editing are free on both formats, always. Paid boosting starts at $1,000 and that is what the Full Feature price covers — a media budget putting your episode in front of more of the right people. You can add boosting to a Short Feature too. There is no fee to apply and no obligation if we talk and decide it isn't a fit.

How it works

Four steps, about three weeks end to end.

Apply

About a minute. A few short questions, one screen at a time. Your answers save as you go.

Pick your slot

Choose a Tuesday or Thursday at least 14 days out. We confirm by email with a calendar invite and the Riverside link.

Record

Browser only — nothing to install. A quick tech check, then the conversation. Bring your deck if you're on the full format.

Publish

We edit, you review, it goes out to YouTube and the podcast feeds. Your files and social cuts land in your inbox.

Straight answers

The questions IR teams and executives actually ask us.

Is it really free?

Yes. Recording and editing cost you nothing on either format. The $1,000 on the Full Feature is a promotion budget, not a production fee — it buys reach for the finished episode. If you only want the free short feature, that's a completely normal choice and we won't push you.

Why only Tuesdays and Thursdays, and why 14 days out?

Because we prepare. Two weeks gives us time to read your technical report, filings and deck so the interview is worth your time. Fixed recording days keep the edit schedule honest, which is why episodes actually ship.

We're pre-revenue / early stage. Are we too small?

No. A tight exploration story told well beats a big producer with nothing new to say. What matters is that something is genuinely happening — a program, a result, a raise, a change in direction.

Do we get approval before it goes out?

You see the cut before publication. We'll fix factual errors, mispronounced project names and anything that creates a disclosure problem. We don't rewrite the conversation into an advertisement — that's exactly what makes the audience trust it.

What do we need on our end?

A laptop with a webcam, a quiet room, wired internet if you have it, and headphones. Riverside runs in the browser. That's it. If you have a proper mic, use it — but plenty of great episodes have been recorded on a laptop and a pair of earbuds.

Can we do it as a duo — CEO and VP Exploration?

Yes, and it often works better on the full format. Mention it in the last box on the application and we'll send both Riverside links.

Is this financial advice or a paid promotion of our stock?

Neither. It's an interview. Nothing on the show is investment advice, we don't make price predictions on your behalf, and any paid boosting is disclosed. Come prepared to talk about risk as well as upside.

Your next 40 minutes could be the clearest your story has ever been told.
